I am a Professor of Finance in the Business School of University College Dublin, where I teach portfolio and risk management. I am also a visiting professor of Econometrics in the University of Bari in Italy. So, my research is at the cross-roads of financial economics and econometrics, hence converging towards what more and more of us call "financial data science".
