RobotWorx - Paint Robots

April 27, 28, and 29th, competing artists will paint, out within the open, at local public and personal sites in beautiful Historic Jacksonville, North Carolina. The painting boundary encompasses many picturesque scenes including, however not restricted to, the Pelletier House Painting along the banks of the brand new River, the USO, the old Jacksonville Prepare Depot, town Corridor Tower, the freedom Fountain, lovely Wilson Bay, plus the numerous memorials in the Lejeune Memorial Gardens. The Artwork Block Plein Air Paint Out is sponsored by the Council for the Arts and will function a judged competitors with prizes, a wet-paint sale in the course of the Art Block street festival, and a month lengthy exhibit/sales in the Council Gallery.

"Older houses, resembling villas and bungalows, are mainly timber weatherboards and painting a floor that has at all times been a light colour a much darker color may cause movement and cracking. This also goes for window and door frames. A shade of white can be probably the most durable for any timber frames. Again, contrast is the key: White windows with weatherboards in a gentle tone of grey, blue, green and warm neutrals give a timeless finish."
